They played "Walk This Way" - so I walked that way.
They played "Come on Eileen" - I'm not allowed in that bar anymore.

It is a matter of personal taste. I would say just about any post-Beatles McCartney song, though most would disagree with me. I really like some of the previously listed songs.

I think each of those songs has a certain appeal and songwriting strength. The first two are just out of fashion now, and not compatible with current taste (for the last 40 years). Maybe it triggers a response due to some distancing people have made from that era. But I think there are worse songs from Burt Bacharach or Pet Sounds. Maybe I'll post a couple for a comparison test.
