What's a good but inexpensive whiskey for mixing?

Been getting reacquainted lately with whiskey sours lately and didn't have any of the cheaper stuff around so I've been using Knob Creek. I'm almost out so wanted to see if anyone had any good recommendations on some cheaper whiskey to use?

Exactly. I don't drink any more, but when I did Evans was my go-to mixing whiskey. Tastes better than Jack at half the price.
