Hot or Not? A little cheap, retro goodness

CBHScott

How did I get here?
MII Kramer Baretta special.

Non-basswood body  (mahogany) and a no-name A5 pickup?

Doesn't have a Floyd, but for $179 could be fun

I had pretty much the same guitar, and to this day wish I had never sold it.

I'd grab that in a flash, if I could

out of the dozens of guitars I have owned, the only one I ever liked more than that Kramer is my SG

Sorry but a Floyd is necessary

Jeff Beck says "hello" :embarrassed:.

(ok, I know full-well that we're talking apples and oranges [although he DID have a Jackson soloist for a bit in the '80s, but that doesn't count], and a proper '80s-style shredder comes with a Floyd, but I can do this...maybe...)

Hello Jeff!

No matter, shredder guitars need Floyd's in "MY" rulebook. Never been a fan of Kahlers and that type of guitar looks naked without sometype of trem - doesn't matter what type for that matter.

(Love the small font that forces my eyes to not focus on the very tiny print. Sorry to say when it comes to shredder guitars that I am a child of the 80's)

WAIT - I missed the "without some kind of trem'' part. It DOES have a ''standard'' trem (or ''vibrato'', if you are so inclined... ), and a Floyd or Wilky could be retrofitted :embarrassed:.

To me that's a guitar that was being built and they said fuck it.
"Slap a pickup and vol knob and some knob will buy it."
And maple is never an option.:i:
