Hey, this thread is relevant again.

I'm at the point of not clicking on a video if it has the tagline of "I never thought I'd do this..." or "This [piece of gear] changes everything..."

I damaged my hearing over many years of too many shows and band practices without ear protection. I have tinnitus now but not the kind that is really intrusive...it's sort of a constant low level ringing. It does affect my ability to hear conversation, though.

Are these any good? It looks nice, but I've played a few in the local musicgoround and some of them feel like cheap plastic trash and some feel decent -- while looking pretty much identical.
