So I got a new Digitech Drop pedal for Christmas, works great, very low (not noticeable) latency and a damn sight better than the (admittedly much cheaper) Donner pedal I was using. It gets a little muddy down at the lower settings but for what I need it's gonna be great. While testing it...

Good points. Weddings are a lot more fun. I didn't get paid, since I work there I donated my part of the proceeds to the rest of the band. But I may buy a new pedal anyway!

So we had our first corporate gig, actually the company I work for. CEO found out I'm in a band and we play 80's music and he said "I love 80's music they should play our holiday party!" The party theme was 70's/80's, lots of people dressed up in flashy 80's garb, they had old school arcade...

Our bassist is a lawyer, he got a two day policy for $64 online. Apparently it's a thing, a friend of mine who was a DJ and plays in bands has had to deal with it.

Question for the gigging players out there. My band is slated to play my company's corporate holiday party (about 500 people at a hotel ballroom) and the hotel is asking about the certificate of insurance for the band. I've been playing for decades in various venues, large/small and everything...
