How many people here own (or have owned) a Suhr?

I have a JM model. Great guitar, but I wouldn't have bought it if it had the original headstock.

    New J-45!

I think this makes 5 guitars so far this year. And a drum set.

    New J-45!

Haven't ever really gotten a good acoustic because I kind of acquired my dad's '64 J-50. And that's been the best sounding guitar I've ever heard, so no need for one. We'll, I don't take that guitar out anymore so I needed an acoustic, I picked up an Eastman that was really good, but I wanted...

    My best idea?

So, I have a fine arts degree, is it the most useless degree? Possibly, but I met my wife there so that was worth the insane amount I spent to go. Immediately after graduating, I was burned out on doing any visual arts and went right back to constantly doing music. Anyway, its been at least 20...

Let's Have a Funny Pic Thread! Mk 56

This one was hanging over our driveway. Our brilliant electric company said they don't deal with these situations and said I would have to get it down myself. After I verified the operator instructed me to take a dead squirrel off a live wire myself, a truck showed up 10 minutes later and took...

Was gifted a guitar so I guess HNGGD

My coworker ended up with some medical issues last year and has been slowly getting rid of his music gear, Monday when I got to work he told me he has a guitar in his truck for me to check out. I looked at it for a few minutes and could tell it had good parts and was put together really well, I...

    New-ish kitchen jam

Just saw this thread, a house is never "done". Really like your updates! My wife and I started to re-do our kitchen, then my mom had a stroke and everything is on hold. Someday we'll get back to it. On a scale of 1 to 10, how much swearing would you say has been done? I'm way past a 10, but our...

First & hopefully last purchases of 2025 - Going Horribly, still buying

Picked up an Eastman and picking up the '97 PRS McCarty w/ trem this weekend. In fairness, I did sell a bunch of stuff in order to get the PRS.

    HN cheap GD!

I've played a few at GC when they have them. They are a great deal! The LP type I was trying stayed in tune better than any Gibson LP I've played lately. $100 is a steal. Totally understand the cheap guitar thing too, they can be a lot of fun.

Les Paul Classic., I'm just someone who gets a sound and stays with it.

I never like the way it sounds, plus I'd tend to knock the switch into a different position when I would try it. I just play rhythm, maybe it comes from playing bass for 30 + years and only trying to get one versatile sound.

I was sooo close to getting the older Godin bass, it seems to be the one a lot of bass players prefer. It was a tough decision as the bass would have come with a fretless and fretted neck.

First & hopefully last purchases of 2025 - Going Horribly, still buying

Picked up the Logan Tele cause I've always wanted one with the specs it has (I've only used the neck pickup once on a guitar) and it was a great price too. Severely unknown/underrated guitars. Then I really wanted the Godin bass. I haven't played bass really except for when making demos, but...

    2024 Your Year in Gear

That AIMS amp is really cool. I had the Geddy Lee pedal when it first came out, no idea what I did with it.
