Crate make about the best bang-for-your-buck acoustic amps...that's why a lot of pros use 'em! The Genz-Benz are nice, too, but a bit pricier, while really not being noticably better. Personally, the older Crate CA60D is the amp I want, and am currently looking to buy...a bit more compact/light...

While there were, indeed, lawsuit banjos, that's NOT one! That one came from the JC Penney catalog and sold for $79.95, and is a decent, but not outstanding, beginner 5-string. My 1st 5 string was this exact model. This is a lawsuit banjo: a Japanese knock-off of this Gibson RB-250:
