I've been using the $20 Ernie Ball Jacquard straps for years. They're cheap, they look good, and they hold a guitar, as well as having a large length adjustment - I'm not tremendously tall, but I'm all upper body with short legs, and I need a strap at least 60" long. Preferably about 63". I've thought about a nice leather strap for quite a while, but most of them go to about 54", and that's just too dang short for me.
An ad came across my Facebook for George B Straps, and they looked nice, so I went to his site and took a peek. I like what I saw, and they came in a variety of lengths, so I ordered one, They come from Portugal, and it's apparently a one-man shop, so it took a couple weeks, but when it arrived I was blown away. Really nice leather, padded well, and the workmanship was impeccable. They're not cheap, but their less than most high end straps like Moody - significantly less than Moody in particular. I liked it so much I ordered 2 more so that I have one for each Les Paul, and they arrived yesterday - and I'm thrilled, so I thought I'd share. The website is gbstraps.com if anyone wants to take a peek at his designs.
Here are mine, on their respective guitars:
