Can't blame her, really. I suspect more to follow, especially attractive young female pop stars. They're probably the most targeted by AI fakes.

Good luck to her. If she succeeds maybe she can use her money to set up a law firm that helps artists file for trademarks and sues violators on commission. There are going to be lots of young lawyers in New York looking for jobs in the near future!

While ambivalent about her and her art, fuck AI. In an age where all these legends sold the rights to their music, which I assume will just be used to "write" tunes in the style of for new artists, instead of supporting original artists and nurturing their development, I applaud any artist/band actively working against having a life's work minimized and triped for the masses.
