1967 Guild M-75 All Original & Repair Free!

Road Worn Playing Machine!

Great Sounding, Great Neck

Condition Description & Flaws Noted:

This is a Vintage & Great Playing 1967 Guild Bluesbird M-75 Electric. This guitar is a first year production guitar after the Aristocrat. While still having the same semi hollow light weight body, it can be played forever at only 5 Pounds, 10 Ounces!! You don't see many of these, for sale that are still completely original! This guitar is completely original with the possible exception of a re-fret at some point in its life (or maybe not). This guitar was professionally gone over and there are no signs of breaks, repairs, damage or refinishing. The finish on this guitar is original, and black lights 100% over the entire guitar. The finish does show the expected finish checking, scratches, dings, dents, chips and wear here that that you would expect of a vintage guitar that was someone "go to guitar" because it played so well (see all pics). The original pick guard has a piece missing near the mounting screw (see pics). The fingerboard and frets are in very good condition, and show some light wear, with no attention needed (see pics). The original gold hardware shows the discoloring you would expect of a well played vintage guitar. The back of the neck and head stock are in played condition, with only some minor flaws, dings, marks, wear and scratches here and there (pictured). The original electronics are all correct, in tact, unmolested, and operate perfectly.

While I can appreciate the natural "relic'ing" of the guitar, there comes a point where it just becomes "Beat to Shit".

This is over that line, imo.

I'd play it but not for the same price I got my mint 1971 x500 for. I have a new appreciation for Guilds of that era but thats not worth $4k.

Why do you think I'm selling so much stuff right now? :embarrassed: It was worth it though and I was either going to waste that much money over the next few years trying to get something cheaper to work or pay for what was the right guitar now. And we knocked close to $800 off the asking price by the time we were done.

Plus for me its both "Tools for work" and "school supplies"

All that matters is it was worth it. :thu:

Yeah.

The funny thing was that I was looking for a used ES-175 thinking that was what I actually wanted for a year and a half. I'm glad I didn't settle for anything like that. Or I was going to try some of the nicer Eastmans at Namm next week and see if they'd give me a deal.

eh

I do like how the majority of the listing is all about trying to minimize the condition

Yeah.

And now you match this guy!
