Teye Coyote 2014 Black

Used and in excellent condition Teye Coyote with hard shell case.

The best-selling sister of the Fox, with just enough extras to stand a breed apart. A selected mahogany body with binding. It sports an elaborately etched partial front plate, plus an additional adorned accent elbow plate, visually setting the Coyote subtlety, but unmistakably apart.

Every Teye guitar or bass is nothing less than a pro-level, presentation worthy instrument. No shortcuts, half-measures, cheap labor or inferior materials have ever been allowed to creep into Teye’s DNA. Owning any model, series or style Teye instrument, is owning the complete essence of what we offer. Adornments and presentation advance with each series of instruments from the Player series through the impossibly opulent Master Series guitars.
Quality, craftmanship, top shelf materials, invention, tone and playability are built into EVERY Teye creation.

Unique features of The Coyote:
Selected mahogany body with binding
Serpentine shaped top plate, plus upper bout plate

There is a small ding on the head stock tip, and one on the side. Both are shown fairly in the pics.

Perfect for Bro Country in the sense that Bro Country shouldn't exist, and thus this guitar shouldn't either. :embarrassed:

The ornamentation is pure country but the pickups are more rock, so I figure Bro Country suits it. A match made in wherever it is that Bro Country originated from...

A new one is $3900 to $4900. This used one is $1830 total "as is" no returns unless damaged in route and it shows that it has damage already. I wouldn't have it shipped and would have to inspect it at that price. The plates are acid etched aluminum, not stamped, not carved, or engraved and that looks and feels cheap. Once I magnified one of the etchings on the body, I can see that it has some depth but it's not crisp like a carve or engraving. Reminds me of a "Keep on Truckin" tattoo from the 70's. Bad art and a bad decision. The headstock is hard for me to tell if it's an aluminum plate or thick metal looking decal. It's not held on with screws like the other plates and the surface looks smooth and cheap. The rear plate has no etching at all. So it was just stamped out and screwed down.

I don't hate it, but if I wanted a guitar to look like that I could get my own metal work done, with higher quality, and install it myself.
