Got an unexpected facebook message this morning out of the blue from a guy I served with. Said hey Mike remember this? I didn’t remember the exact date but remembered storm and being home with my new wife, of just over a year, on F. E. Warren AFB. It was an event for sure. Played Dugeons and Dragons that morning for the first time, never again. It was my day off and my wife got home from work about 3 pm. During that evening .The windows started to buzz and hum in the house from the tornado and the it roared as I grabbed her by the hand and we hide in a closet build in the center of the house. Going by a window in the living room I saw the tail end of my car slide around on the front lawn. Seconds later it was over and quiet.
