Description: A three-pickup Kay Truetone Speed Demon, full hollow thin-body. Changed tuners, otherwise completely original. Set-up in shop, the guitar plays well with slightly highish action to compensate for not-so-great original frets.

I saw one of those in Chelsea guitars 3 or so years ago. Looks like it'd be cool to mess around with. But $800? Bit much for an old Kay. It better have a very unique sound for that kind of dough.
 
Cream City Music has the single pickup version for about $500. Listen to some of the YouTubes of these. They sound pretty good in a raw, early electric blues kind of way. They only downer - the truss rods aren't adjustable on some of the Speed Deomns. So, if the neck starts to bow, you're SOL.
