I'm not crazy about explorer shaped guitars. I also don't like the weird front to back fade finishes that seem to be the new craze. I like the black one. I like what Chapman has done in the guitar space especially in their upper end products. I'd love one of the pro models. Maybe the Rabea signature model. This black one with the padouk neck really looks amazing.

I think they fit into a good place between classic designs with classic finishes and guitars with way too much abalone.
