I mean corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian or Thousand Island dressing?

Should it's inventor be celebrated or cursed?

Thats good stuff. I actually like the Pastrami version better, although the purists will jump on me about calling it a "Rueben".

Dump the caraway rye for marble and it's WIN x a million. And you just gotta have half sour pickles on the side. drool0

I need double the corned beef and half the kraut, but I LOVE Reubens. Actually, I love corned beef period.

I love reuben's but I always sub out the swiss for provolone. I really really hate swiss cheese.

No thank you. :embarrassed:

I'm with you on this one. I can eat 'em if they're free, but almost anything on the menu would be more appealing.

Corned beef is just a strange concept to me. Other than the center of a good steak, I have a problem with pink meat. messedup0

I'm cool with corned beef and I dig me some swiss. It's everything else on it that is just . My grandmother makes "fantastic" reubens, but I take my corned beef and swiss on the side, with potatos and onions saute'd on the side.

Does that extend to ham, or are you just talking about pink beef? Cuz if you don't like ham, we may have to have you institutionalized.

As for reubens - I fricking love them. Corned beef or Pastrami - both are good. I like the original forumla with swiss cheese and seeded rye.

Here's one of mine.

Things I don't like:

Rye Bread
Thousand Island Dressing
Corned Beef
Sauerkraut

Somehow, you put these things together on a sammich, however, and I love the hell out of it....:embarrassed:
