That is an ultra rare steinberger GS7TA. Super thin/flat shredder style neck, with a headstock, but still made of composite. Stainless frets. The body is maple on swamp ash and the guitar is finished in blue burst/purple. The guitar has an active preamp, EMG 89-SA-89 pickups, and a super rare type IIs trans trem (no tuners on the trem). I read they made perhaps 700 of these guitars. Maybe a 100 or so with the trans trem, and even fewer with the active preamp and this pickup config. Mine is a one off custom order (loaded specs, custom wood choice, custom color, etc.). According to records I have seen, it is literally one of a kind. I think list price on this in the early 90's was like 4 grand or so, without the upcharges for the custom wood, finish, etc.
It plays like an absolute mother fucker and is the most 'versatile' guitar I own. It can shred, do fat jazz box stuff, and even fake a good tele sound.
My Indonesian Squier, neck and body are all that's original. Love the way this guitar plays.
Here is my new (HNGWeek!) Xaviere, I love it for the money. Feels good, sounds good. The neck is pretty wide, and takes a minute to get cozy with. For this kinda money the finish on both the neck and the body is pretty damn surprising, in a good way. Oh, and a pic of the puppy "helping" take pics.
My basic Squier Affinity Tele, again great for the money. Bone stock at the moment, but she's gonna get some tuners and pickups in the near future.
The bass is the only thing I play. ...and "play" is a streach of the imagination. So, yeah I gave away the pink zebra. Sometimes you just don't have a choice. Hard to explain. Easy enough to do another one.
Forgot some more that are technicaly mine. The First Act Shenna, and two Lolas. By thew way, pink zebra was yet another Lola.
