Dig it! Lockdown Cover

So I did a remote musical collaboration with some old bandmates in Holland and Ireland.

We all recorded our parts at our home setups, I did all the guitars.

Then I collated it, and mixed it as close to the original as possible. I had some help from @jelloman here.

Guitars are all recorded with free software plugins:

- LePou Hybrit (Marshall sim)
- LeCab + God’s Cab IRs
- TSE808 tube screamer software plugin

I did some EQ matching on the guitars and bass to get closer to the old analog mix with moderate success

Anyway, enjoy Phantom of D Opera

ps This is my own personal mix for fun, not an official release

Excellent job! You guys really captured the Di'Anno era sound.
Sounds very professional.

I say you guys 'Up The Irons' some more.

Love it! And yeah, you guys totally nailed the early Maiden sound. :jam:

I'm picturing the singers neighbours wandering WTF was going on :bigg:

I have to record a lot of voiceovers and audio content for uni projects. Sometimes I wonder the neighbours think there's a crazy person living downstairs

Tip top playing, and those plug-ins sound really good.

What guitar (or guitars) did you use? Was it your Charvel Guthrie Govan?

Yes, I used my Charvel for most of the guitar parts, except the solos were done with my ESP (EMG-85 bridge and Seymour Duncan 59 Neck)
