MLB Playoffs 2019

I think what the MLB has been doing over the last few years for post season is complete bullshit money grab. What I'm talking about is how they give you the whole season and then come playoff time you are sol if you don't want to fork over money to either cable, youtube, hulu or sling. The whole point of sports is to have a winner and that is why everyone watches so to string us along and then say "ok now it's a bit more money, cuz we're greedy as fuck"....kinda like the Pusher man in that Steppenwolf song....gawd damn him :embarrassed:

They could a t least give us that paid for MLB.tv the right to watch :mad:
 
Go Cards!

Hoping the Cardinals go on a St Louis Blues type run. The Cardinals were pretty shitty up to the All Star game then picked it up to clench NL Central in the second half. It helped that the Cubs collapsed down the stretch. That’s always fun to watch.

The only Nats I get to watch is playoff Nats. I refuse to pony up for cable to get MASN, the network owned by the Orioles just to watch regular season. I didn't realize it was on TBS until I decided to see if I got the game somehow through Hulu, which luckily I did. Hopefully the Nats get out of that terrible deal soon.

you want to see the shit hit the fan? let NFL do that shit. you get the pre season bullshit on regular tv and then the real season is only on FSN1 until the superbowl.....ha ha ha ha ha ha. :mad:
 
My daughter (pretty much a sports fanatic) went got her BS at Occidental in LA, and went to a couple of games at Dodger Stadium. She couldn't believe how detached and uninterested in the game the attendees were. When you go to a game at Oracle Stadium, OTOH, there aren't a lot of folks looking at their phones during the game...

Yep. Last night was the first Nats game I watched (on TV) this season.

I'll watch their last 3 as well.
