moldy gorgonzola

Weird Pick Butt Person
I just ate some gorgonzola that had hidden itself in the back of the fridge and gotten some extra mold that it didn't have originally. It tasted OK, but I don't think it was improved by the extra inadvertent aging.

No ill effects thus far. I post this so that you'll know if I suddenly disappear from the forum, it was the cheese that did me in.

All gorgonzola is moldy.
Live on the edge, have some rotten apples wif yo cheese.

I went to college with a Moldy Gargonzola. He was an exchange student from Italy. He needed to shower more often but he always made a great sandwich. Alas, he crumbled under the pressure. :-(

to follow up on this (I'm sure you've all been wondering..) - no negative side effects, but I also haven't appeared to gain any super powers, so more-or-less a wash I guess.

However, the dog did manage to steal and eat a pound or so of an aged sheep's milk cheese off the kitchen counter when a friend turned her back. He had seriously nuclear farts for ~24 hours or so, so we haven't been entirely without cheese-related incidents.
