Well, I went a little nuts and got something I have always wanted but never really thought I would have - a "boutique" couch guitar. Since I had rotator cuff surgery in 2022 I struggle with larger guitars but often found smaller bodies just didn't produce the same rich, full tones. This one does. It's a Bourgeois 00 12-fret "Coupe Custom" with bearclaw figured sitka spruce top and a quilted mahogany back. The figuring doesn't really show up well in photos but is stunning in person. Mrs. bsman was somewhat nonplussed regarding the price but I've been a very good boy and deserve favor...
