EG has actually gone a bit downhill in the past year or so. I used to hang out there a lot, but it is getting a little too ingrown for me (compared to the past). At least music is occasionally discussed. Most music posts on GJ drop like a rock unless they are semi-trollish in nature from the get go, or are discussing the latest Euro-techno band, which I am not particularly drawn to musically.

I actually only read the "OMG my ultimate NGD is today" thread in EG to be honest. I wondered what thread would have 1000 pages and got hooked. Puckman was one of my students for a while (will be again starting Thursday night) so I do know one of the participants...

I put a random post in that thread just to say I was in the thread. That thread is epic if only for it's size (just shy of 114,000 posts as of right now...).

I am seriously debating on the SG kit though. I am getting rid of my Monstrous Aquarium and need a side project.
