So I got a new Digitech Drop pedal for Christmas, works great, very low (not noticeable) latency and a damn sight better than the (admittedly much cheaper) Donner pedal I was using.
It gets a little muddy down at the lower settings but for what I need it's gonna be great.
While testing it out with my rig I found that one of the cables on my pedalboard was fading fast. I thought my amp was acting up at our last gig, toggle standby and it fixed it, very flaky. While setting up the Drop on my board one of the cables was giving me some horrendous noise, I replaced it and it's quiet as a mouse. Never noticed it before but I do gig now and then so my board gets a lot of wear and tear.
Lesson learned, if you think your amp may be acting up, check all your cables, just a tap/jostle here and there is all you need.
