One month from today.....

....my flight touches down at the Charleston airport, and the prelude will begin.

One month from tomorrow Pragestock III officially begins. Local authorities have been busy planning their vacations to be out of town for this weekend. Parents with small children are leaving the county. Beer sellers are boosting their inventory.

The question is....

Will YOU :mmad: be there?? Well....will you?

The ONLY reason I ever think "man if I was still in Qatar" is because it would have meant I could hit up Pragestock.

Maybe next year we'll have a transatlantic attendee.

I don't think boredom is one of your worries right now. We shall toast your health Friday evening....

I'm in the best health I've been in, maybe in my entire life. But I certainly wouldn't complain about such a toast.

(Unless it's a Bud Light toast or something insulting like that.)

I'm in the Midwest Rollercoaster. I'm really, really hoping to especially since I can't make it to NAMM. :(

:(

That bad, huh?

Yup. Worst summer since I started teaching full-time. I have less income this month than I do expenses and all my food and gas has to come out of my savings. It looks like I might have signed up two new students, but that's a band-aid. The only bright spot is my mortgage payment is less than my old apartment's rent, so the house is safe and sound.

EDIT: I'm hoping to exploit my love of the Fab Four into a special group class open to all students. We'd learn a few Beatles songs, talk about their impact, and do some recording. That will help to make up a bit of the lost continuing student income.

part of the fun. Going back to gigging has really helped even things out here...

How far are the Prages from Charleston? I have some work to do there this summer. Maybe I could time it just right.
