Question: Over the top Fuzz-a-mageddon: Hoof vs Pharaoh?

In the left corner, weighing in with Si and Germanium selections, the Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh:

first impressions are that i like the Pharaoh better, but i've got my Mojo Hand Colossus and these clips aren't inspiring me to change.

Out of those two I'd take the Hoof, but for over the top fuzz I like the Way Huge Swollen Pickle. idn_smilie

I use the MXR Classic 108 Fuzz, but that's probably not over the top enough for your needs, lol.

I like the pharoh a lot. It's been on my gas list for a long time. I'd go for the Devi Ever Shoegazer before I'd get a Hoof fuzz if I was gonna get something Big Muff-ish.

If you can find one, try one of the big purple MJM Foxey Fuzzes. They're completely amazing. I challenge any fuzz to sound this good.

i still have three pedals with blinding LEDs. the MI Audio Tube Zone, Catalinbread Valcoder (which blinks too), and the Way Huge Angry Troll. i put masking tape over the LEDs. otherwise i'll give myself a headache.

This is blinding. You can't even see the knob settings when you look down in a moderately dim room. It's really quiet and has a really nice mix of tones between the diode selector/bypass and the tone controls. I wish I could play more today; my hands a really beat up from yesterday and I've got a gash across my thumb that keeps opening up and bleeding all over my pic.

Tried some superglue earlier but it's mostly worn off with a bit of playing. I'm gonna give it a rest for the weekend. My other hand is beat up too but at least my tips are fine
