Well... I've had my first post deleted from the PRS forum...

Funkasaurus Rex
It was innocent enough.... the mods explaining the rules and the anti-drama rules.

I said:

"So... If I find myself offensive, can I report my own threads?

The mod I was talking to got it, but some other people thought I was being purposefully incindiary. :(

While I like the idea of a corporate owned forum, my track record with company owned forums has not been good (Ernie Ball Music Man, Carvin, etc)... and I realize that in the first week I've already posted some non-PRS content (Mi-Si rechargable acousic preamps) on the forum. :embarrassed:

tsk tsk...

I've had shit pulled on every single forum I've ever joined, with the exception of one, and that's cuz you can't start your own threads in that place.

I've only been "asked to not return" to two forums. :baimun:

That damned spawn board... even when I went after that one jackass mod I never got banned for more than a day.

I think mine was a week.
I earned it though...

here, I posted Tittie Vader for some reason...most likely beer.

The company sponsored forums are cool as long as the companies do not get too anal about what is posted there. It is generally the best way to get in depth info on their products.

Yep.

From the messages I've had back and forth with the moderators there, I think it will be fairly loose and should actually have a better cross section of people than the pressed shirts that inhabited BAM.

This is still the center of my web universe, so you guys get ALL OF ME... the good, the bad, the psychotic. :helper:

I don't know - BAM was responsible for a lot of limited edition PRS guitar sales......
