So, I don't know if I found a vein of gold or I am succumbing to internet hype, but I have been wanting to get a Jazzmaster and have been wrestling with the offerings by Fender/Squier. When I came across Foals. These are getting good feedback and definitely are priced right, so I pulled the trigger. Lead time, and I am sure shipping time, will be a end of summer/fall wait, but we'll see:

Well, Now I have seen....... NEVER AGAIN. 9 weeks after ordering, 4 weeks after hearing it shipped with NO reliable tracking...it is here, and it has uneven frets all over with strings buzzing and fretting out. And Of course the downside of stainless steel frets...IF I were to try and get these corrected, it would be Expensive... Trying to send it back, while hoping someone in China actually does the right thing...yeah, not holding my breath. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Aw bummer man. Hope they do right by ya.
 
So apparently not stainless steel frets, I was incorrect, but I still don't want to spend an additional $200 on a $570 guitar. They want me to send a video of the problems... OK, how about I send it to Phil McKnight and then they can watch the video with 100,000 other guitar enthusiasts at the same time. :mad:
