I know when I get home from my inlaws for dinner I'm having some Bookers. Maybe some Eagle Rare while I'm over there.

Budweiser. I'm pretty broke lately. Might throw in a splash of Jack.

Oh yeah! we do have some leftover rum, so I might throw that in some coke zero. Hmm. . .

pretty much the same thing as every friday night. vodka/soda/lemon squeeze, a few light beers, punctuated with occasional sips of Jameson's :thu:

Bought some shiner bock on a whim which is not in my usual snooty Californian IPA exclusive habits. It was 5.99. I now understand why. This is not good.

Which snooty Cali IPAs? I'm a sucker for the Lagunitas and Firestone Walker breweries, myself. . .

I'm a true blue lagunitas zealot. They ought to send me a tax refund. Aside from them, good ol' SN, Bear Republic, Russian River, plenty to choose from here.

Just water tonight. I've got a marathon tomorrow. A whiskey marathon. And I'm kind of nursing a sinus infection right now. My ears are totally clogged. :(

I picked up some Becks Sapphire on a whim. It was on sale at the local gas station. It isn't bad, but it is pretty unremarkable beer.

I keep meaning to give the Bear Republic a try, but it's hard to stretch out when you've already got a couple of favorites

All three beers they bottle are absolutely top notch. Racer 5 is easily a go-to IPA. Red rocket is great, and hop rod rye is outstanding. They brew dozens, but only bottle those three with Racer X thrown in once a year.

Usher's Green Stripe Scotch and Yuengling lager. Both decent, unremarkable and cheap. Using aforesaid to wash down a North Carolina Pulled Pork Sammich with a side mixed greens from City BBQ.
Next I'm gonna squat on the floor, put my hands up and lean forward.
"Cause that's how I roll.
