Your favorite cover song from a movie soundtrack! Soundtracks are littered with cover songs, some being made up entirely of people doing covers. If you look, you can find great stuff like this:

Beck, covering the Korgis "Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime".

I like the I Am Sam soundtrack. All Beatles covers. Jealous Guy plays over the closing credits. That'd be my favorite but they didn't include it on the soundtrack.

Iron & Wine covering The Postal Service- Garden State:

Yeah, I covered that one too... many, many Coverfests ago.

The Donnas covering KISS - Detroit Rock City:

Nine Inch Nails covering Joy Division - The Crow:

4 Non Blondes covering Van Halen  - Airheads:

from a movie...hmmm.
how about the guy busking the orig. 1960's Spidey cartoon theme in the 1st Spiderman flick? :embarrassed:

I can't really think of any covers from movies...

I don't know if I'm a fan of the song so much as I'm in love with the singer in this video:

Don't really know, off the top of my head.

First thing that comes to mind is the "Elephant Love Medley" from Moulin Rouge!, where Ewan McGregor woos Nicole Kidman with a medley of cheesy love songs.

I do like that UO cover of Neil Diamond.

filthy song, that.

how about the Ramones covering California Sun in the movie Rock'n'Roll High School...?
yeah, I'll take that as my pick.

I got nuttin'.

I rarely pay attention to the music playing when I'm watching a movie, and I can't usually quote a single line of dialog even after just viewing a movie. Unlike some of my friends, who can quote half the movie after watching it once messedup0

"Hard Time Killing Floor Blues" by Chris Thomas King from O Brother Where Art Thou?

I'll actually just include pretty much everything in that movie, even if most of 'em are traditionals.

I'm the exact same way. :embarrassed:

I rarely watch movies to begin with, as I don't often have much time or patience for that, unless there's one on late nights on the telly.
