You can set the intonation as soon as you put on new strings. Then, you can check it again in a week or two. Make slight adjustments if needed.

Interesting. I had never heard that before. I thought it was a bad idea to try to intonate a guitar with old strings. With new strings, I have waited a week or two because I’m a procrastinator.
