A Sweetwater card with a high limit and 0% financing for 4 years is very bad for my GAS.

Yes. Spruce top, walnut back and sides. Utile neck (used as a substitute for mahogany apparently). I'll eventually get around to recording some clips with it, but probably not this weekend.

I've always wanted a Gibson Super Jumbo, and when this SJ200 Studio popped up for 48 month 0% when you use your Sweetwater card, I couldn't help it. I just got it today. Unboxed it and played it for about 20 minutes. Sounds great and looks amazing. I can't wait to play a gig with it.

Same pawn shop where i got my Classic 30 for $200 all those years ago... and a VHT Pittbull 100 head for $700, as well as a few other bargains.

Normally, I'm team pickguard on for a Les Paul...however...

That's a gorgeous top. I say pickguard off. I took the guard off my LP Signature T, and added covered Pearly Gates pickups.

Yeah, the Peavey headstock is infinitely better looking than the EVH. The Peavey necks in general feel better than the EVH, but some of that has to do with the fact that they have soaked up my oil and sweat for 20+ years. I will say, the pickups in the EVH may sound a tad better to my ears...

After a few years of playing nothing but acoustic, a month or so ago I bought a Neural Nano Cortex (damn modeling has come a long way since the Line 6 Pod kidney bean). Anyway, found this at a local pawn shop for next to nothing, and even though I needed another guitar (especially a Wolfgang)...

    Anyone here from this region?

I've lived in WV my whole life. My grandfather (and most of my great uncles) were coal miners. My v dad and most of my parents generation were coal miners until the 80s. In the 80s, a ton of the deep mines shut down in favor of strip mining, or laid off b union workers and hired non union...

    U.S. Masters LeGrand Floyd

16 years later and I still have the guitar, still haven't made a new pickguard. It's one of maybe 3 or 4 electrics I play. Then again, I play about 95% acoustic nowadays. I do remember when I bought the guitar, I thought I could just take it apart and sell it for parts because I knew the...
