Jerry doesn't get the respect he deserves. Most non-guitarists (and probably even a lot of guitarists) only know him as Cledus from Smokey and the Bandit.
 
Jerry is my favorite guitarist of all time. He was just insanely good. He reinvigorated Chet too.
