So, for the last several months, Mrs. P's job has been driving her crazy. Not so much her job, but her management. She has had a feeling for months that her division director was just doing everything she could to make her life miserable. As such, there has been a lot of stress, both at work, and at home. Last week, one of Mrs. P's team members informed her that during their review with the division director, the director came right out and said that she was looking for dirt on Mrs. P because she's had complaints about her from other team members.

Anyway, Mrs. P has been actively applying for other jobs within the organization. We had agreed that even if she had to take a step down in pay, it would be worth it just to get out of the job she's in now.

Last week she interviewed for a job that would have been one pay grade below what she is now. The actual pay would have been about the same, but she would have been pretty much maxed out on the pay grade, which would mean no future raises.

She got a call back today from the guy that interviewed her last week. He regretted to inform her that he couldn't offer her the job she interviewed for.

Instead, he offered her the team lead position, which is a lateral move, no step down in pay grade.

Fucking AWESOME!

Congrats, Mrs. P!!!!

Woo Hoo!!!
That's excellent!
Congrats and Happy New Job Day to Mrs. P.

Thanks guys. I am very excited. It's completely out of OIT, so it will be very different. It's in writing Budget documents for Congressional Meetings.
