Got a drum set parked in the garage again, and the eldest child starts lessons next month (although she's already trying to play along to stuff). It's got a cheapie set of high hats, a decent Zildjian ZBT crash, and a terrible no good horrible whatever for a crash/ride. I got the green light to purchase a new ride, and was looking at the Zildjian i series, but I just noticed the S series ride is only $25 more. From the clips on my crappy work laptop speaker I think the S sounds much better, anybody got any practical experience with these guys?
