This felt like the longest short week in the world (especially after a week off)! Anybody doing anything good this weekend? I'm replacing the strings on the newly-acquired bass (got GHS Bass Boomers). . . after some research it's a surprisingly cheap instrument for how decent it feels and plays. Anybody heard of Glarry? :lol: Even came with a little 20W amp. Might try to get out tomorrow for another load of firewood, but rain is supposed to start again Sunday, so I'm planning on just keeping the fireplace going and hunkering down.
 
I have a Glarry tele-style guitar that came with non-factory art work. I liked it better than the Fender that I had. Of course, I am primarily an acoustic player.

I don't have much planned; we are supposed to go for dinner at a friend's house tomorrow, weather permitting, then church Sunday.

I briefly had a Glarry Bass, it was comical how bad it was but, that was, looked it up, 2019. I would think they have to be better now. The more comedy gold thing was trying to return it. The guy kept offering more money off if I kept it. He got down to, don't remember exactly, $10 or$20. I gave in because, I thought, this should cost me SOME money so, I learn my lesson. Took my partial refund and threw it in the dumpster.

I'm not sure how old this one is, a friend was cleaning stuff out and just gave it to me. Guess I'll see, but at this point I'm not super demanding, it'll just be fun to have one to goof around on.
