My favorite player gets an interesting signature guitar

I wasn’t expecting an Ibanez.
Smart for for Ibanez.
For sure. Opens them up to a whole new customer base. It’s the first Ibanez I didn’t dismiss out of hand.
I think they're finally realizing that they need to diversify a bit. Everybody on their roster outside of the guys from The Offspring are metal guys or jazz guys. The biggest outliers are probably Periphery (Jake Bowen) and Polyphia, and they're still definitely metal.

If they start making chunky necks, I'm in!

Josh Smith is an incredible player and that guitar sounds amazing.
Good to know they didn't put a thin neck on it.
I think I'd I like to have one.

I still want to know what’s wrong with it.

I prefer a 6 saddle bridge and might have bought it if it had one. Looking into replacements, there's no information on the Gotoh bridge it comes standard with, so while I can infer a $40 Gotoh Modern bridge would fit, I'm not taking any chances.

Six saddle bridge is the first thing to go for me. I think there is something to the two strings across the saddles.

Nice feature set. Does that one have SS frets? Any idea what sort of $$?

My Kirn has the Gotoh "in-tune" bridge with brass saddles, and I have zero complaints.
