Sorry it's been forever, I'm selling almost everything

I've been away forever. My apologies, guys. Though I have been on FB keeping in touch w some of you fine folks :)

I was touring the country with Fools For Rowan a couple of years back, things were awesome, paying bills with rock. At first, I was posting a lot, very excited to pass along all the cool things that were happening, until I got really busy and didn't post much, then onto there being so little going on and things taking such a bad turn that I was embarrassed to tell anyone how bad things got.
I moved to Nashville almost 2 yrs ago, at the time the fiance and I split, and just shortly before the FFR vocalist decided she didn't want to vocal anymore and threw all of us under the bus.
I've been having the hardest times of my life for the last year and a half. Working at a BBQ for $7.50/hr (plus free food) and more recently Hobbytown USA (flying RC planes has kept me sane) for just a little more, while trying to keep the music dream alive. 5 bands, 2 music videos, and 1 movie later, I've burned myself out, and have fallen out of love with the struggle to continue playing music professionally. I've decided to leave that passion behind, to enjoy it for myself and no longer pursue it as a living - and instead chase my other life-long passion. Aviation.

SSSOOOOOoooooo... I'm selling the vast majority of my gear in order to eliminate my debt, move to Arlington, TX to live with my brother while I attend Airline Training Professionals 6 month fast-track program.

I'll be posting the ads for the individual items of gear in the appropriate places - classifieds on here, HC, craigslist, ebay, etc. But I wanted to check in with y'all, and offer up first dibs to my friends on here who I've done a horrible job at keeping up with.

Short list of what'll be on the table:
  • black Mason custom tele
  • candy apple red '72 Mason tele
  • gold flake custom shop G&L sb-2 w HSC
  • Fender 810 cab (not looking forward to selling locally lol)
  • Hartke HA2500 head (rest of the rack too)
  • Line 6 M13 with expression pedal and case
  • black 1974 Gibson ES-335 TD w OHC
  • Squier Affinity 5
  • black 2010 Gibson Firebird '70s Tribute
  • natural burst on quilted maple Emerald X7 carbon fiber acoustic
  • and probably a Strat I built
Sorry again that it's been so long since I've posted, and I hate that it's about this. Just wanted to check in, catch up, and give any of you guys first dibs at any of this gear that will be sorely missed. Thanks, and sorry again.

Good luck, man. But anywhere in Texas is a good place to be looking for work. The oil industry has everything cooking on high burners right now.
I know oil hands taking home $2500 a week.

Man, life can really shit on you sometimes, no matter what you do or the choices you make. I feel for you, bro. Don't beat yourself up though.
I'm glad you have a career goal and wish you the very best. Hopefully you are keeping a few pieces of gear for when you later want to just play for fun and enjoyment, for yourself.

Good to "see" ya again! Really sorry to hear that you've had such a rough time. I hope things can turn around quickly.

Good luck, what type of airline training are you getting into? Maintenance, flying, operations? Just curious, I work for a freight airline here in Michigan, maybe I can help when your done.

Good luck with everything. Nashville probably isn't the best place to be for a guitarist who's burned out on the business.

Sorry to hear about all your troubles, but I have to note that I think if you put it in a sifter, there's probably a monster country hit there!

Glad you are pursuing your passion, flying is an amazing and life changing activity. I miss flying every day. Really miss it.

Sorry to hear about the troubles in music, but I'm glad to hear that there's another passion, too. All the best as you move forward.

Good to hear from you. I'm sorry you're in such a spot.

I'd love to snag your Masons, the ES-335, and the Emerald. I'm pretty stretched right now, so I might not be able to. Depends on what you're asking, I suppose.

Dang Gibby major mojo on it all. I was really glad to see you succeed with FFR and remember the travesty of it falling not long ago. As for leaving the business, one must do what one must. You'll be back on a different scale next time. Good luck on your pursuit towards Aviation.

Hope to hear from you soon!

That sucks to hear it fell apart. It seemed like you guys were on the rise, but I have been there before and it isn't fun. In my situation, it was me who decided to leave the band.

Hopefully the aviation thing works out for. Good luck.
