Which US State is the best to visit?

Hawaii, Montana, and New Hampshire are my favorites. I think I have been to every state except for Alaska and Arizona.

So far, I have found California to be a place where I thought I could move to.

My experience is limited to Northern California, if that means anything to anyone.
Silicon Valley and San Francisco and as far south as Carmel, Monterrey, and Pebble Beach.

States that I've been to:
New York - mostly Western and UpState
Pennsylvania - driven most of it.
Maine - southern coast
Nevada - Vegas and Laughlin
Arizona - on the Nevada border at Hoover Dam and Laughlin. So, pretty much Nevada. :P
Texas - Dallas
North Carolina - Raleigh
Minnesota - Minnetonka
Florida - Orlando, Hollywood, and Miami
Massachusetts - Boston, Billerica

I've had stops in other states during flights, but I don't count those in evaluating them.
I've also driven through some to get to those on my list. I don't include those for similar reasons.

there are plenty of cool states to see.....well, maybe the whole state isn't cool.....but there are good parts.

however, i would steer clear of ohio.....pretty boring, unless you're going to Cedar Point and don't mind standing in line for an hour or so to go on a 90 second ride. :(

It depends on what your interests are, but California has a wide range and culture/nature balance; Highway 1, Bay Area, Big Sur, LA, Napa Valley, great surfing and beaches...

State is a bit broad. I love Chicago. Lived in Boston for a while and it was great. Worked in NYC for a while and it was pretty cool. Lived in Raleigh NC a couple years and loved it. Philly is pretty cool. So is San Fran and Phoenix. Idk I think there's cool things about a lot of places and states. It really depends on your state and interests. Ya never know til you visit them so definitely go check out some places.

Arizona, Saul. It'll be like visiting another planet. There is no terrain anything like that anywhere near the UK.

Or Cali, for why Flamester said.

State is a bit broad.

Yeah. That's why I included the cities and areas in my reply. It gives more of a perspective when you include the reference points.

Oh, and I should add Georgia to my list. I spent a month in Atlanta one week.
I've also driven through on my way to Florida, and stopped in at the airport.
All together that adds up to a visit.

Yea. I chuckled. Lol

Usually it's the early American historical sites, art museums & installations, great bars (some of the top rated craft beer bars in the world) and some great food experiences like the RTM. But, I'm always curious to hear different people's take on the city. It's definitely not one of the first choices for cities I'd like to live in.

Man, I miss the Reading Terminal Market.

Quincy Market in Boston is along those lines and is pretty stinking cool, though....not the same, but similar.
