Achtung! Who else here has a watch fetish?

I don't wear a watch.

They harsh my vibe. :helper:

Shame... Well I'll just have to throw away these cork watch bands, then.

I got a steal of a deal on an Invicta F0067 Pro Diver in Honduras. I've always been drawn towards blue faced dive watches. Sure, it isn't a Tag or something ultra bling, but I'd never spend more than a few hundred on a watch anyway. I dig it.

I know, gold hardware fail.

Update this month.... I haven't been a watch wearer in over 10 years.... but my wife recently bought me this one as a gift and I really like it.

Self winding when you walk, and I like how it's a skeleton watch in the back as well as the front.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I was watch surfing tonight and then found this thread.
I may have a bigger watch addiction that guitar.
If your in the market www.chrono24.com is a great site. New, used, or just drooling.

I have a fancy watch, but it's blingy so I don't wear it much. When Dad passed, Mom really wanted me to have his Breitling. The most comfy watch I've ever worn, but I'm not much for gold. I want this one:

The McQueen has always been one of my favorites. TAG is kind of frowned upon by horologists but I've always liked their styles.
The Monaco has dropped in price lately. I would have expected prices to jump since the Swiss dropped the Euro and went back to the Franc in February.

Me too. I read a lot of the comments about not liking something on their wrist. I feel naked without it and my Seamaster weighs as much as an iPhone 4.

I work with 2 guys who are always comparing watches, each trying to one up the other. Neither has the free cash to buy a $400 watch, but that doesn't stop them. Buying & selling each watch when something new comes along.

Yeah that's pretty common. Unless you have a lot of disposable cash, it's hard to go up the scale otherwise.
But it's not that different than guys I know that are into firearms, guitars, sport bikes, or custom knives.
Something they were in love with last month is already yesterdays news and they're looking for their next "Grail" item. I think whatever you collect, you're always in search of the next piece because a lot of it is driven by others. I like what I like, if others like it great, we have something in common. If not, oh well.
Cork Sniffing take on a whole new meaning with watches.
Just like the TAG Heuer that Guitar Heel posted. I love that watch. But If you owned a Piguet Royal Oak, you'd probably laugh at me for my selection.
The difference is, I don't like the Royal Oak, but I can still respect it for what it is.

Since February, I've gotten a Citizen Eco-Drive AT Chrono (sets itself with the atomic clock and charges itself with the sun, or pretty much any other light source) and a Bulova Automatic that Mrs. P bought me for my 40th birthday.

I've gone from having about 10 watches worth a total of about $600 new, to 12 watches worth a total of about $1500 new. :embarrassed:
