Pets of Wein

Kiira scraped the edge, but finally, after a lot of vet visits, meds, bloating and whatnot, she's on the mend!

She's skinny as hell (and ravenous, which is new, she was never food motivated before), but she's super happy, energetic and enjoying life again!

She's also resumed her normal habit of trying to drag me to the local bar once a week :embarrassed:View attachment 120132
Excellent news!

I got a new kitty last week. This is Apollo. He's about 5 years old and has half a tail. I think I might rename him Sauerkraut. He's starting to get along with Chumley.

Adopted a male black lab puppy and a male black kitten today. Awaiting a home inspection.
They already met tonight. Cat settled things quickly. Names are still being considered.

Its been a couple years now since I put down Buzz. He was a cat that lived many lives in his 20 years. We put down my best friend Buddy about a year and a half ago. We are all just now ready for new four-legged friends. May Buddy and Buzzy rest in peace.

My wife is over the moon about new critters to spoil. I miss having company during the day now that I'm retired.

Lola was playing with the other dogs at daycare today, legit rubbing around with them!!! 6 years in August we've had her and that's the first time she's ever played with doggy pals

This girl needed a home after her first adopters brought her back to the shelter. She is super energetic, observant, loves to play, and is an absolute sweetheart who loves to snuggle. She gets along with the other dogs, is potty trained, and is a fast learner. It looks like she is half Miniature Pinscher. Meet Penny.
