NPD...walked into Best Buy

Right on! The phase 90 is my favorite phaser by far, even more so than the small stone. I have one of the crappy (compared to the original) Dunlop reissues that I modded for the "script" sound. Sounds pretty close to me, in that you can get a similar sound out of it like on "Jamie's Cryin" and intro to "Atomic Punk".:thu:
 
Our local Best Buy doesn't have a lot of musical gear either. But, I haven't been out there for a while. I'll check it out this afternoon and see if there's any good stuff/deals to be had.
 
The one up in Murrieta actually has a pretty large music section, even a whole separate room for acoustic guitars. But there isn't anything on the website about a 50% off sale though.
 
So, I went to best buy. They had two crappy keyboards, one crappy acoustic guitar, a crappy tuner, about 5 different kinds of strings, a 4 pack of drum sticks, a few cables, and a power supply. All were full price.

No new pedal day for me. :grin:

My experience was the same as Prages. GC and Sam Ash sucked too

I've never been in a Best Buy
there's one in Winnipeg, maybe I'll see if I can check it out.
 
I wonder if BB is getting ready to end the experiment. I think I read at HC where one of stores was shutting down their musical instrument store and blowing out the inventory.

We have two BB stores in the Chicago burbs with the musical instrument store. Except for an occasional clearance-priced item, they really aren't any different from GC, other than being a fraction of the size, with a fraction of the selection.
