i had an SG. had being the operative word. one day i would like to have one that doesn't suck. i don't see this happening anytime soon.

'94 All American SG-X. My first "real" guitar.
It started life with just a bridge humbucker and no pickguard. Over the years, I got a pair of Rio Grande pickups, a custom pickguard, and a Bigsby. It's a fun guitar, and it has a lot of sentimental value for me, but it's got nothing on a good SG Standard.

Thanks guys. The only problem I would have if and when I ever buy an SG is choosing between humbuckers and p-90s. I'm not a fan of the humbuckers on my MK LP style, but I think if I got something that was cleaner and brighter I would like them...
