Who do you think is going to win it this year?

Can anyone stop Spain (the answer is no - but you are welcome to your opinion...:embarrassed:)..

And what about Group B - geez what a nasty group to end up in. All four teams are really good!
 
Germany wins this year I think. Exceptional squad they have.

I think Spain will miss Villa and Puyol a bit too much this time, not to mention Torres has been abysmal the last year.
The Dutch might just grab a final again btw.

Yep, the one where they don't prance around and fall down when there's a stiff breeze. They also don't go around headbutting each other when they get their panties in a twist. WTF is with the headbutting?

Yeah - Germany is very good as well. This is a very strong field top to bottom....

Ah, I get it. The one that usually ends up twice as long as necessary due to commercial breaks. :tongue:

In all seriousness though, the headbutting is extremely rare.
I really hate that diving/acting that a lot of players do (especially a few of the Spanish/Dutch/Italian ones).

Curious about who ends up the big surprise this time.
Almost always a team that drastically overperforms and go quite far in the tournament (like Greece a few years back).
Maybe Sweden or Croatia this time?

I would say Denmark - but they unfortunately ended up in Group B so they need to play way over their heads just to get out of the group play.
 
I was in Germany when the Wold Cup was in LA. I watch some games in the bars there and it was fun. I didn't really know was going on, but the atmosphere made it fun. In my area you would be hard pressed to find anyone who was I to soccer. Turning a soccer game on in a bar here might result in your death.

I remember being in Barcelona one weekend during the last Euro, and Spain had just beaten the Czechs. Holy fuck, what a mental night that was. Whole city just went absolutely berserk. :embarrassed:

Similar stuff during the 98 World Cup as well when Norway beat Brazil. Happened to be in Oslo that day, unbelievable party. :thu:
