It looks awful (and I don't just mean the color - I also mean the headstock), but having a soft spot for Teles, I'd still take it for a spin (though I need another Tele like I need a hole in my head - I bought a Fender American Performer Telecaster a couple of months ago).

Interesting, and I remember seeing a guy playing in a band in the 90s (he did lead vocals, and shared lead guitar duties with the other guitar player), getting some cool sounds out of his Roland G707, but for some reason, I've never really gotten into synth guitars.

I noticed that your strings are riding pretty tight in the nut (hence the question). As long as you don't have tuning issues (such tune-up being a pain), then you're good to go.

Hollows and semi-hollows are cool. Congrats on yours. It's starting to look good, now that you did a little rehab to it. I assume that you had to widen the nut slots, since you put .013s on it, to avoid the strings from binding in them, when you tune, or do bends? P.S.. - if you haven't...

Those are kind of cool, though if they have thin necks as a rule, that would be a deal breaker for me.

Ya know, I've always thought the National/Supro/Valco stuff was pretty cool - even the Eastwood, and Supro "reissues" (I had an Eastwood Coronado reissue about 12 years ago). This is a little iffy for the price though, so I think I'll pass.
