Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Me and wifey are home again after 4 weeks in France with car. We first visited an old friend from the anaesthesia departement where I worked for many years. They now live in St Chinian in Languedoc. I invited them for dinner in our rented house and made fried duck filet with olive/lime sauce -...

And so… the FINAL tune from my sons coming EP

New song The Depths sounds quite different from the others. Here he has done everything himself, except that the bass player from the Swedish Rock band Eclipse sings in the choir.

How many of you not named Mystixboi have…

I bought my Vigier Surfreter 2 years ago. Still busy to get along with the fretless neck. But I had a long lasting project to fix all my 7 guitars so they should have no issues, with playability, sound or finish. So some new pickups, switches, pots, trem arms and a lot of polish.:embarrassed:

Here we go again: new song from my son

He will not turn down anything, since he knows the solo act is (still) not as strong as the band Unguided.

Here we go again: new song from my son

Thanks. The video is taken by a friend at one of the fortresses from the 1600s in Gothenburg, called Skansen Kronan. All the rest is his work. He now tries to get a liveband together, and it seems that a British band are interested to have him as an opening act - but nothing is decided yet.

Here we go again: new song from my son

Here he has done everything by himself again. Still he’s not satisfied with the result…

This interview with Paul Reed Smith is hilarious!!!...

Balsa wood is of course impossible to use for the construction parts of a guitar. Still Gibson use it instead of maple as a tone block in their Howard Roberts Fusion - and also for the es135 (?). It helps against feedback, but gives no change of the sound. It still sounds like a full hollow body.

    Help! New black metal track

I like it a lot. Reminds me of early The Swans.

    Peter Brötzmann gone

This thread needs a music track. Here’s Brötzmann’s octet with Machine Gun from 1968:

    Peter Brötzmann gone

Saw him first time in 1974, one of my greatest concert experiences, after Hendrix -67. https://amp.theguardian.com/music/2023/jun/23/peter-brotzmann-legend-of-free-jazz-dies-at-82

Who does Facebook think you are?

I get a lot of information on ancient Egypt, Amenhotep III, Tiye and Yuya, and that’s fine. But for some reason I also get a lot of celebration for general Lee and Stonewall Jackson. So who do they believe I am? A confederate egyptologist?

    Health Update

Hope everything will turn out to the best. Me and my family sends all mojo we have. Btw: the combo with heparin and bone marrow biopsi sounds strange.

New song from my son. This one is big…

Thanks. Well, I am if course biased but think he really got it here. Not many heavy metal songs has an astronomy-philosophical content.
