I have a Olson Ollandoc hollowbody guitar for trade. It has a beautiful burled mahogany top, sides and back loaded with the Olson pickup and switch system. It plays great and is an awesome sounding guitar.

Other features:

  • Burled Mahogany top, back and sides
  • Ebony tailpiece
  • Gotoh locking tuners
  • Brass saddle bridge
  • Strap locks (included)
  • Seymour Duncan SH-1 pickups

Overall, I like the idea of this but not the aesthetic of this particular one.

and that head stock…

Less binding would help.
Maybe a different colour.

I like people who play those, but it doesn't fit my style, both in terms of playing and appearance. A cool guitar.

For what it is, a Languedoc copy. Not what I would buy, but...

This.

Can’t speak to whether or not it’s a quality instrument. If it is, then I think the price is very solid. And it would fuck.

I can’t see myself getting it, though. Maybe if they make one with P90s and no zero fingerboard inlays.

I'm a big fan of the concept behind Languedocs, but barring the wood itself, I've never really liked the actual look/profile of the guitars. To that, if I wanted a high-end compact hollowbody guitar Artinger would be my choice. It's unclear if they still make guitars, but they've definitely made some gorgeous instruments.
