Here is a very rare example of the Breadwinner Limited solid body electric guitar. I have not been able to find out exactly how many 12 string LTDs were made but 500 is a number I have found on various Ovation forums. The serial number dates it between 1975 and 1980. You can find 12 string Deacons, regular Breadwinner LTDs, but as far as I have searched there is barely evidence of the 12 string Limited.

This particular guitar is in fantastic shape. There is a hairline crack on one side where the neck meets the body, but it is structurally very solid and otherwise free of any dings or blemishes. Everything works and it plays beautifully. The hardware looks good for its age but does show some minor oxidation. Case is original and in good condition.

Not a fan of the breadwinner in any form, have very little to no use for a 12 string electric, and that does not look like just a hairline crack to me.

Price is also ridiculous. Hard pass.
 
I have a nostalgic love of Ovation acoustic guitars, but their electric guitars don't appeal to me. I wouldn't want a twelve string guitar with any kind of neck issue.
 
I would have to shave off all of my pubes to fill that hairline crack.

Also, this is hideously ugly even by Ovation’s standards.
 
For some strange reason I have always liked the Breadwinners.

But the price is insane even without the crack. Rare does not mean expensive.
 
I’d prefer the regular six string, I’ve always liked Breadwinners but not with that crack or at that silly price.
