I'd like to try it out, but there's zero chance of me buying it.

My BC Rich Mockingbirds fulfil my double humbucker, mahogany body, 24 3/4 scale, hardtail needs quite adequately. As they are, I have no difficulty getting Iommi tone. If I tried that Monkey SG and liked it sufficiently then I might consider swapping out the humbuckers in one of my Mockingbird for P90s. But that would be it.
