For that price it NEEDS MOAR ROBOTS. Robot tuners, robot strummer, robot string changer, robot jack plugger, etc. I want to do nothing but look cool holding it. #lifestyle

As for the price, it seems stupid to me, but I guess that is the price that comes associated with something made in the custom shop. Is it 3800 better than a DC 2015 discount version, of course not, but it is probably a much better made instrument from nice starting materials. Does it matter, probably not.

They have made LP and SG juniors from the custom shop in the past that were around this price.I just saw an SG junior for 3300 CHF a few days ago and it was an amazing guitar. A bit too rich for my blood for a single p90 guitar, but it was nice.

For less than $2,000 US I could buy a standard and get the nut and frets fixed by a shop that knows how a PLEK machine works ;b

They still withhold the best woods for their high end, but the price is still more than I'd pay. My guess is that's a really great guitar though.

For $4000 you could get a Fibenare, Huber, or Collings and know they'll be superior instruments, even sight unseen.
