People seem to be saying it's good. I wasn't much of a fan of the first one, but I loovee the original 80's cartoon and the 86 animated movie. :embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed:

Many of my intelligent teenage peers like it, so it must be good. :grin:
 
My 18 year old son saw it and liked it, but was not blown away. There seems to be a very mixed reaction to it, but definitely more yeas than nays. I'll see it when it hits the cheap theaters....

Sure you do; it just so happens that your favorite critics happen to be teenage film aficionados from the O.C. whose criticism is unpaid and unqualified.

I don't take too much advice from my teenage friends either.


Until I see it, I'm not making assumptions. That's how I am with movies.
 
One of my friends said it was horrible... and he and I felt the same way about the story and characters of the last one, and this one is an exaggeration of the first movie. If you liked the action... there's more. If you thought the story and characters were lame in the first one... this one's worse.

I'll wait for the Dollar theatre.
 
I'm guessing that it has a bunch of one liners, a ton of fast action CGI that looks like a blur, a brazillion explosions, and Megan Fox looking like a dirty little slut. :embarrassed:
 
It has some good action in parts, but for the most part its REALLY boring. And it has 2 little racist robots. Seriously.

Shia Lebeouf said they had the biggest explosion ever in film history. Makes me really wanna go see it. :rolleyes:

That is pretty much what I heard verbatim. Especially the last point, or as a good (single younger) friend of mine said - the 'sexing up' of Megan Fox to insure the teenage male attendance. And that is the target audience. I might even wait until it hits DVD and see it on NetFlix

Mystixboi saw it and mentioned on his Facebook page it was a total waste of $20.00.

True story: my great-great grandfather worked at the Guinness brewery in Dublin, and drowned to death in either the Grand Canal or the Royal Canal on the date of Michael Collins's funeral in 1922.
 
I absolutely HATED the first transformers. it was so stupid i didnt even sit all the way through it.


I can't imagine a sequel being much better.

My dad worked at Nathans Hot dogs on Coney Island in the 1930's.

That's pretty "Jewishy".
