On holiday this week. These dudes like hanging around outside the pub.

Of course, I'm shocked.... but you would likely be surprised to see the ginormous trash panda (American Raccoon) that is often in my back yard, along with the chest high mini dinosaurs (wild turkeys) that are often running through the neighborhood like velociraptors even though they have the ability to fly. :lmbo:

Appearing this week.
Black-bellied Whistling Ducks like to check out the yard from the roof before committing.

A few Indigo Buntings have flown in during the rain today, a rare sighting since the big freeze of 2021. (more kitchen window photography)

Mrs jbj got an awesome pic of one of the peacocks with it's feathers fanned out. I'll need to get her to pass it on.

She's now decided she'd like a peacock themed wallpaper feature wall to go with the bright pink paint when I decorate her office :puke:

Not seen anymore birds in my garden and my big hotel doesn't seem to be attracting any tourists:embarrassed:

I have started a mini pond, ordered some plants and Lola and I collected an awesome stick to help wildlife access it while we walked round the park earlier. Google says it could host a couple of minnow fish with some low key maintenance so I might give that a go. We're not THAT close to any other water but I have aspirations that it'll attract frogs and whatnot.
